Review Policy

Hello! If you are a published author, an aspiring one, or just a normal person such as myself, then welcome! Kindly read this page for my "terms" when reviewing books.

Preferences

Genres: Young-Adult, Dystopian, Historical Fiction, Sci-fi, Horror, Thriller, and the like. Generally though, any book with an interesting plot is fine with me, regardless of genre.

Formats: I prefer reading physical copies, but sometimes I also read on my laptop, although the latter would mean a longer period of reading.

Process of Reviewing

Honesty. I am unbiased when reviewing. I believe that as a book-blogger, I must review and express my opinion regarding books properly and accordingly. I don't see the point in calling it a review if it contained remarks not my own.
Content. If I really like the book, then the review will contain very positive things. I try my best to write in a formal manner, but sometimes I slip here and there. If I didn't really like the book, do not worry. I don't bash the author and his/her book. I point out the things I liked and the things I didn't. Again, this will be written in a formal, and professional way.
Rating. I rate books based on grenades, just for the heck of it. Again and again and again, I rate with utmost honesty. Do not fret. The book will gain more grenades if it is good.
Promotion. Each review (and post, for that matter) will be posted, and therefore promoted, through all of my social media handles: Goodreads, Twitter, instagram, and Facebook, except for Tumblr since I don't use that site for bookish commitments.

Other Things

If ever it takes me some time to post review, I truly am sorry. It's because of the fact that I'm still studying. I promise that I am trying my BEST to balance both of my two lives, and that I will still stay true to what I believe.
ARCs/Galleys are very, VERY much welcome! They will be prioritized based on publication date.
I accept suggestions and comments lovingly. I appreciate each and every one!

For comments, suggestions, or if you just want to drop a line, you can do so by emailing me at jrmp2000 [at] gmail [dot] com.
