Waiting on Wednesday: Library of Souls

Hi! This is me, climbing back from the grave, for the tenth time. And I suppose that with everything happening around in school, I might be going in and out of this "grave".

So much for that!

And to kickstart my attempt in successfully balancing my lives, here is a Waiting on Wednesday post! This meme was created by Breaking the Spine.

I don't think there's a more suitable book to feature this week than Library of Souls by Ransom Riggs!

Title: Library of Souls
Author: Ransom Riggs
Number of Pages: 400 (Hardbound)
Publication Date: September 22, 2015
Publishing House: Quirk Books

Synopsis

Time is running out for the Peculiar Children. With a dangerous madman on the loose and their beloved Miss Peregrine still in danger, Jacob Portman and Emma Bloom are forced to stage the most daring of rescue missions. They’ll travel through a war-torn landscape, meet new allies, and face greater dangers than ever. . . . Will Jacob come into his own as the hero his fellow Peculiars know him to be? This action-packed adventure features more than 50 all-new Peculiar photographs.

Excerpt

Earlier this year, an excerpt of Library of Souls was put up on Scribd. If I'm not mistaken, it's about one chapter long, pictures included. You can find it HERE.

About the Author (from his page)

Hi there, I’m Ransom and I write books. I also love taking (and finding) photographs, making films, traveling to places that are tricky to find on maps, urban exploring, and scuba diving, which is kind of like urban exploring, except with fish and shipwrecks instead of abandoned houses. If you want to connect with me on social media, I tweet and Instagram a lot, and post somewhat less frequently to my YouTube and Tumblr pages. So welcome, have a look around, and please don’t break anything.

That wraps up my WoW for the week! Stay tuned for more bookish shenanigans!

P.S. I've mentioned earlier that I'm getting busier by the dot. That being said, I think it's time for me to conjure another update post!
P.P.S. If you have any upcoming book that sounds promising, please do comment below!
